On April 22nd, the 15,000-ton LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker "TERN VIK", equipped with CSSC SETH's hybrid power system, was successfully delivered to Swedish ship owner Terntank. This is the third successful collaboration between CSSC SETH, Terntank, and Yangzhou Dingheng Shipyard following the "TERN ISLAND" and "TERN FORS", which have operated flawlessly for nearly four years and received high recognition from both parties.

The "TERN VIK" has an overall length of 147 meters, a beam of 22 meters, a service speed of 14.5 knots, and a range of 6,600 nautical miles, classified by Bureau Veritas (BV). CSSC SETH provided the system design for the hybrid power system and manufactured the core DC-LINK system. The hybrid power system is equipped with a 424kWh battery, a 1,000 kW permanent magnet in-line shaft generator, variable frequency load drive, high-quality hotel load power supply, HV shore power connection access, and an nergy management system (EMS). Featuring PTO and PTH functions with intelligent power mode switching, the system achieves an EEDI index 40% lower than the Phase III 2025 standards, not only ensuring energy efficiency and environmental protection under various operating conditions but also enhancing vessel safety.

In 2020, CSSC SETH achieved a significant milestone by partnering with Swedish ship owner Terntank, marking both the first export of domestic marine equipment and the company's first entry into international markets. Over the subsequent five years, this successful collaboration has grown to include seven vessels across two confirmed orders, earning strong endorsement from Swedish ship owner. CSSC SETH has since transformed from a domestic supplier to a global player, with its marine solutions now deployed on over 610 vessels worldwide, including more than 85 overseas deliveries. CSSC SETH's international portfolio spans major maritime nations including Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Singapore, Greece, the Netherlands, Thailand, and Indonesia.
